With the 2005 unmarried "Listen to Your Heart," D.H.T. became the latest European dance act to retrieve its American footing via Robbins Entertainment. The New York label had antecedently helmed singles from DJ Sammy ("Heaven") and Lasgo ("Something") to success, and the Belgium-based D.H.T. (singer Edmee Daenen and DJ Da Rick; various producers) featured a likewise propulsive blend of accessible Hi-NRG/Euro-dance rhythms, plaintive female vocals, and reformist theater texture. It was D.H.T.'s sheeny Roxette remaking that genuinely caused a stir, like Sammy's plow of Bryan Adams before it. "Mind to Your Heart" first-class honours degree appeared in Europe through Hardbounze in 2003. Issued stateside by Robbins in November 2004, by the following May it was a Top 40 sense experience in assorted markets. D.H.T.'s former lick included a Euro-dance plow of the 1978 Sniff 'n' the Tears treasure "Driver's Seat," released under the soubriquet Dared.
